Little Harbor Park & Paddle Eco Tour |
Where's the beach? We'll show you on this unforgettable trip (it's where we go on our day off). The tour starts with a 16-mile drive through the island's rugged
interior, home of buffalo, island fox, bald eagle and deer. You will enjoy breathtaking ocean vistas and have many awesome photo opportunities along the way. We'll stroll through the Airport in the Sky's
nature center at the top of Catalina before we head to the beach. Little Harbor is located on the Southwest shore of the island and is considered one of Catalina's most beautiful coves. We'll
picnic before we paddle out to explore the rugged cliffs and deep canyons of the island's windward side. We'll point out majestic Indian Head Rock and, weather permitting, haul out for a short hike to
Cottonwood Canyons waterfall. While exploring this uninhabited side of Catalina, you'll be transported back in time to when the native Indians were walking the same trails and marvel at how little the
island has changed since then. We drive back through Middle Canyon (the middle of the island) where we'll visit Pimu the bald eagle. No experience necessary, reservations required. Single or Double
kayak, guide/instructor, wetsuit, picnic lunch and bottled water provided. 10am to 5pm $149.00 per person |
